Pimax Play 1.32 is live and brings native OpenXR and Quad Views

The latest version of Pimax Play is live, and it brings many improvements and features, including the anticipated native integration of Pimax OpenXR runtime.

With this change, users no longer need to download third-party software to launch OpenXR-supported titles, and Quad Views is now included as well. You can see here how to use it: How to use Pimax OpenXR

Additionally, Upscaling Mode has also been released from closed-beta and is currently available, for the Pimax Crystal Light. The development team is working on support for the Pimax Crystal.

Pimax Play Update

  • Added native OpenXR support
  • Introduced Crystal Light upscale mode (Lab Feature).
  • Fixed several Japanese translation issues.
  • Fixed link to Steam installation guide.
  • Fixed character limit for registration and login emails.
  • Optimized tracking algorithm to reduce CPU usage.
  • Improved tracking stability and quality for Crystal Light.

Firmware Update

  • Added 90Hz upscale mode for Crystal Light.


PimaxRacingRig Challenge

A bunch of simracing challenges has started, including an invitation to share your rig as well as the challenge to beat a pro simracer's laptime. Learn more about this event here.

Crystal Light at Tokyo Game Show and ADAC SimRacing Expo

There are still a few days to experience the Crystal Light at the Tokyo Game Show (Booth 10-C10) in Japan.

The next 'stage' for the Crystal Light is the ADAC SimRacing Expo in Dortmund, Germany, from October 18th to 20th. Find us at booth D3, D5 and BC4!
