Pimax was founded out of a desire to push technological limits to the edge of the possible, and to help humanity exceed its limits through that same technology.
Let us show you what we mean by that.
Challenging VR beliefs since 2014
Pimax was the first VR manufacturer to put 4K resolution in a headset, and after that 8K resolution, and soon 12K.
We were the first to reach 200 degrees field of view, and the first to use glass lenses in a VR headset. We're pushing for wireless VR with 17 million pixels. We do things that big multinationals wouldn't even think about.
Our current models are based on the Reality Series, with the Crystal, Crystal Light, and Crystal Super, all sharing key technology such as SLAM algorithm, glass lenses and ultra-high resolution QLED panels.
Pessimists sound clever, but optimists change the world
There are a hundred reasons why things can't be done, but usually when you push hard enough, look at a problem long enough, you'll find a way. And that's how we make progress.
Tried and tested
We've been growing hard since Pimax's extremely successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017, raising nearly 4.3 million USD, a Guinness World Record.
We have since received multiple investment rounds to further innovate in VR and push boundaries — collecting dozens of accolades on the journey, such as the 2024 CES Innovation Award.
What sets us apart from other VR companies?
