Farewell to the 5K Series – Looking Ahead
Technology moves fast, especially at Pimax as we're actively pushing new innovations. The 5K, while still having higher specs than most VR headsets out there today, is no longer part of our current models or production cycles. After 6 years of producing replacement parts, in early 2025, our supplier discontinued the production of 5K connection cables. As components for this legacy product become unavailable, we want to ensure your continued experience by offering preferential access to Crystal Light upgrades. We want you to experience the awesome PCVR once again with Crystal Light. With this in mind, we have made the difficult choice to officially end after-sales support for the 5K series on June 30, 2025. Your headset will continue to function, but after-sales support is no longer provided from the official Pimax channels.
