Pimax VR headsets are popular among flight & racing simmers around the world for their high clarity and field of view. Pimax was also the only VR manufacturer attending the 2024 ADAC SimRacing Expo, with its headsets being displayed at the booths of Simucube, Conspit, SimMotion and SimRaceShop. The 10th-anniversary event of the SimRacing Expo was held in Messe Dortmund, Germany, with over 80 booths from hardware and software manufacturers.

The Crystal Light was experienced by sim racers from all around the world, as well as media such as Overtake, SuperChicane, Traxion, and KarmaTV. Famous YouTubers such as Kireth, Dan Suzuki, Suellio Almeida, PixelConnect, WallStark, and Let's Go Race also tried the headset — as did members of Assetto Corsa Evo, Fanatec, and Virtual Racing School.

Visitors got to race in Virtual Reality with the Crystal Light and immediately mentioned immersion and excitement, as well as an extremely high clarity and field of view, as well as comfort. One visitor: "I have a Pico 3 Neo at home and this headset, the Crystal Light, is so much sharper, and the colors are more vibrant." Another visitor remarked: "The clarity is insane and the field of view really good. I have the HP Reverb G2, with that I cannot see the mirrors. But with the Crystal Light, the field of view is so large I can see the mirrors in my peripheral vision."
