Production for our three micro-OLED headsets is now well-under way for some time, and we're happy to report that all Dream Air (SLAM & Lighthouse version) and Crystal Super micro-OLED pre-orders placed before April 30th have been fully produced. Orders placed in May are also moving through production rapidly as we accelerate toward global fulfillment. This is a massive milestone, and it reflects the enormous effort our entire team has poured into getting these headsets produced and then quality checked, to get them into your hands.
The Feedback Has Been Extraordinary
The Dream Air units already in the hands of our community have generated some of the most enthusiastic responses we have ever received. Nearly unanimously, Dream Air owners have described being completely blown away by the sharpness and lens performance. That kind of feedback means everything to us — it tells us that the years of development behind our micro-OLED optics have delivered exactly what we set out to achieve.
Faster bulk shipment
To get your orders to you as quickly as possible, we have made the deliberate decision to ship via air freight rather than slower surface options. This comes at a significantly higher cost to Pimax, but it is the right call. Fulfilling your pre-orders sooner is the priority, and we are committed to backing that up with action.
On the Road to Global Stock
With the bulk of pre-orders now produced and shipping, we are steadily working toward stocking these headsets at fulfillment centers around the world. Starting July 1st, we expect to be able to offer local delivery within just a few days of ordering — meaning if you haven't placed your order yet, that wait won't be long at all.
