Update on Non-Local Dimming Crystal Light Shipments
We’re excited to announce that the non-local dimming version of the Crystal Light will be shipping out soon.
For the customers who pre-ordered this version, you'll receive an email to pay the remainder of your pre-order. We'll ship you the Crystal Light with local dimming pre-activated for a free 15-day trial so that you will have a chance to experience the superior visual quality it offers.
Upgrade Option:
After 15 days (from Pimax Play software activation), if you enjoy the trial experience, you'll have the option to purchase a permanent upgrade for $200 to continue enjoying the local dimming feature. This upgrade is tied to your headset's serial number.
If you choose not to upgrade, the local dimming feature will automatically disable after 15 days.
Shipment Timeline:

Pre-orders with payments completed by August 15th will be included in the first batch shipping out on August 15th. These headsets are estimated to arrive within 4-6 weeks.
