GPU CRYSTAL et AMD

Certaines cartes graphiques AMD peuvent être prises en charge.
Les cartes qui ont passé le test jusqu'à présent incluent : 5700xt/6700xt/6950xt.
Nous testons encore d'autres modèles.
À ce stade, il est toujours recommandé d'utiliser une carte graphique 3070 et plus (non recommandé pour 3090ti).

Are there any updates on Crystal AMD compatibility? I’m entering VR market and had to pass on 8KX due to no support for AMD cards. I preordered Crystal, would love to be able to use it when it hits the street

For now on Crystal we still recommend the GPU NVIDIA ®️GeForce RTX 2080 and above.
As we can’t guarantee you that AMD will be able to finish tuning Crystal for compatibility when it launches.

Les problèmes de compatibilité avec d'autres modèles font l'objet d'une étroite collaboration avec AMD.

I own a Reverb G2 that I use almost exclusively in iRacing.  My system has an RX 7900 XTX graphics card.  I have placed a pre-order for the Crystal, but I’m not sure I will actually purchase.  I have been trying very hard to determine whether the Crystal is compatible with my GPU, and appreciate your statement that it is compatible.  However, I cannot find this information on your “official website” as you recommend in your post.  This information really should be easier to find.  I would also appreciate more details about the compatibility.  For example, is the Crystal able to run in the OpenXR environment on the 7900 XTX?

On Crystal’s recommended configuration page, shown as you can see, we have marked 2070 and above, but this does not mean that AMD cards cannot be adapted to our devices, so they are compatible.We are in the process of optimizing AMD graphics cards for compatibility in the hope of achieving better performance and stability.

However, we can’t give you an accurate answer to your second question, as we usually recommend users to use scenarios running on the SteamVR framework.

Did anyone tried running Crystal on RX6800? I got email for Crystal order completion, but I’m not sure if it would run on my GPU (and currently I would like not buy another GPU)

Yesterday, I received my notice that my payment is due to purchase a Crystal (I pre-ordered in May).  I have an RX 7900 XTX GPU, and I’m still looking for confirmation that the Crystal is compatible with my GPU.  Please provide an update if one is available.  I have only six days remaining to decide whether to purchase a Crystal.

Has there been an update to this with the AMD 7900xtx gpu? Thank you for your time!

 I have a 7900 xtx the only game I tried so far with the pimax is elite dangerous. and so far, not happy with the performance there is a lot of stuttering on foot on ground even though frame times is in the 9 ms range the stutter is really bad when spinning around with a tool out or jumping in the air..

I don’t think it’s worth is on amd yet hopefully they will work with amd on this and getting the eye tracking enable dynamic foveated rendering.

@pimaxsupport sorry for interruption but you mean that it I have a windows game Pc and I have AMD 6700xt, 6900xt, 7900xt, and 7900xtx graphics cards only with this cards I can use Pimax Crystal
