Has anyone heard if PiMax intends to sell this exact headset and all it’s capabilities without the standalone onboard computer?
The Pimax 12K is packed full of goodies and has the best resolution and FOV. It has a standalone mode supported by it’s onboard computer.
I wonder how much the standalone feature raises the price of the 12K.
I have a PC with the best hardware, I have no desire/need to ever use the onboard less powerful option.

Pimax 12K is an upgraded product of the current Pimax 8KX, which mainly inherits the 200° large FOV of 8KX.
The Crystal we are launching could be the all-in-one model device you are talking about. Crystal is an independent new product line, mainly for its true color reproduction. performance

Oh, you have to wait a long time for 12k. Grab the Crystal while you can.
