Are these the right ones for 8KX?

Will I need ANYTHING else to make my <expletive> expensive headset work properly? I don't need the little boxes if I'm always sitting down, right?

Hello David Merchant,
The 8KX range of headsets support the lighthouse positioning solution, if you need to use the index controllers you will need to purchase at least the Lighthouse 1.0 or 2.0 base stations to position both the headset and controllers.
We also have a Sword controller available for the 8KX series, which we recommend you try if you need it. https://pimax.com/accessories/
