Hallo,
I plan to buy the Crystal. I read that the cable length is 5m. Will there be a longer cable sold? I see there is a 6m cable, but only 1 usb, but crystal have 2 usb port.
I have a very big play space and cable length is my limiting factor.

Crystal support with 6m longer fiber optic cable together, compared with ordinary data cable fiber optic cable signal attenuation is weaker, while can support longer distance use. You can find them in the accessories section. It would be great if this could be of help to you.

Thanks for your answer. I saw the 6M optical cable in the accessories section, but it does look different than the crystal 5M cable. Im i missing something?

The 6M fiber optic cable is really different in appearance from the regular data cable. The normal cable has two USB data ports (USB2.0 + USB3.0) in addition to the DP port, the 6M optical cable has only one USB3.0 port in addition to the DP port, which is normal. Due to the use of fiber instead of copper, the length of the 6M cable is greatly increased and there is no need to use the USB 2.0 interface.
But please don’t worry, 6M optical cable can be used normally on Crystal, in addition to using USB-Hub can also extend your range and provide stable power supply.

Question in regards to the cable. I heard in the following vide of VR flight Sim Guy that the Pimax Crystal retail units got shipped with the fiber optic cable. I assume this is then the 6M fiber optic cable. Just to confirm but is this true?

Yes, it’s more like a welfare policy. We plan to upgrade the copper wire in the package to fiber optic wire, if you want to get more information you can contact our online customer service.
